Hello all,

A friend, Harvey Mudd at NIH, has asked me to post to our discussion board
on his behalf. For the past 8 years, he has been collecting heterographic
homophones (such as week/weak). The list began as an assignment his
granddaughter was given in middle school and has grown to 890 pairs,
excluding ''proper nouns.'' He and I are both very interested in finding
out how many more there might be and were hoping that my fellow linguists
would find completing the list a worthy challenge.

Harvey is in the process of creating a webpage for the list but if anyone
is interested before I can send the link, please email me at
jbloomqugettysburg.edu.

Thanks,
Jen
