Description:
The Butler Hill Group, a virtual computational linguistics consulting
company has an immediate need for native language linguists or language
experts to work on the evaluation of linguistic word processing
applications of the target language. Qualified candidates need to be
native speakers, preferably linguists and have excellent reading and
writing skills in Croatian, Serbian (Cyrillic), Serbian (Latin), Kazakh,
Galician, Romanian, Kannada, Gujarati, and Tamil. They also must possess
excellent English reading and communications skills.
Candidates should be knowledgeable and proficient in the modern usage and
recent developments of the target language and able to work in a fast-paced
environment while following carefully documented instructions.
This is a part-time contracted position of up to 25 hours total. Project
work requires strong computer skills in a Windows environment. Consultants
will work remotely from a home office on their own personal computer and
will need to be regularly available for some email or phone correspondence
during business hours. US residents must have US work authorization
(unfortunately, we cannot sponsor employment visas).
