Applicants should have a strong general background in linguistics and be able to teach across a range of subjects within the discipline. Applications are invited from scholars specialising in any branch of linguistics but preference may be given to people with experience in one or more of the following areas: Second Language Acquisition (including ESL), Sociolinguistics, Austronesian linguistics (ncluding Comparative Austronesian), Papuan Linguistics.
