Thank you for your willingness to write a book review for the LINGUIST List.

LINGUIST List only accepts reviews that have been solicited through the reviews system. Unsolicited reviews will not be accepted.

There is a new system on how to request books to review. This system includes several steps in order to allow for a good selection of reviewers. If you would like to become a reviewer for one of the books announced in the AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW posting for the current month, you will need to follow steps 1-4 explained below:

Step 1: Log in to your LINGUIST user account. If you do not have one already, you will be able to create one.

Step 2: Update personal information and add reviewer specific information on why you would be a good reviewer for the books you select.

Step 3: Select books you want to review from the month's AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW list.

Step 4: Confirm book selection.

Once you confirm your book selection, you will receive an email with the list of books that you submitted. You will be able to log in again to make modifications on your selection between the 1st and the 20th of each month. On the 21st of each month, the list of books will no longer be available to make requests. Note: The reviews team will no longer receive email requests to review books.

From the 21st to the end of each month, the reviews team will be making the selection of reviewers. By the end of the month you will be notified by email if you have been selected as a reviewer for a book you selected or not.
